ISLAND OF CYPRUS

APHRODITE’S PATH: 8 DAY PILGRIMAGE & COASTAL ROAD TRIP

November 7th – 14th | A Journey of Embodiment, Myth & Sacred Lineage

The Goddess Aphrodite is alive in Cyprus, present in the mountains, waters, and stories of the land. She is fiercely powerful and loving, her mysteries deep.

Apostolia Papadamaki: distinguished performance artist, wisdom carrier, and transformational mentor and Alexia Berta: energy alchemist, yoga teacher, and sacred gridworker, invite you to journey to the mythical Land of the Goddess this coming November.

Together, they hold a field of remembrance, opening a potent energetic sanctuary where wisdom seekers are invited to experience the archetypal frequency of the Great Goddess through ritual, myth, embodied ceremony, nature-immersed practices, and the beauty of feminine togetherness.

We journey into the inner landscape of our Priestess selves during this 8‑day pilgrimage across Cyprus.

From the east coast to the wilder western shores we travel in attunement with ancient energy nodes. Each stop becomes a living altar where we meditate, embody, dance, drum, cleanse, and purify honouring facets of the sacred feminine within.

Evenings under the island sky invite communal witnessing and consciousness activation as we weave personal story into the land’s timeless field.

    • You’re here to activate your power, sensuality, and creative energy.

    • The Goddess is reaching you through visions, music, or subtle signs and you’re ready to respond.

    • You’re drawn to ancient sites and energy nodes

  • In Cyprus the Great Goddess evolved over 5,000 years from a Neolithic fertility protector into the world‑renowned Aphrodite; Hesiod, in the Theogony, describes her arising from sea‑foam and coming to Cyprus.

The island functioned as a bridge of deities between the Levant and the Aegean, absorbing sexual power, martial ferocity, and protective sovereignty from figures such as Inanna, Ishtar, and Astarte while retaining non-figurative practices like the veneration of baetyl stones—conical sacred stones often thought to be meteorites.

Cypris, the island’s ancient, place‑rooted form of the Great Goddess, embodies these neolithic and levantine traditions: aniconic stones, local rites, and an emphasis on fertility and territorial protection, whereas Hellenistic Aphrodite is a later, pan‑Mediterranean, anthropomorphic synthesis expressed in sculpture, literature, and visual culture

On this pilgrimage we engage the living Cypriot current—its embodied, land‑based presence and ritual intelligence—while honoring the poetic and archetypal dimensions of the later Aphrodite.

Cyprus is a living expression of her frequency: layered hills and deep‑hued sunsets, a clear blue sea and galaxy‑rich night sky, scents of jasmine, bergamot, and myrtle—evoke Aphrodite’s beauty, abundance, and embodied sensuality, amplifying every one of the senses.

  • Over the course of 8 days we travel across the island from the east coast to the west coast connecting to sacred energy nodes and ancient temple sites.

At each site we will meditate, embody, dance, sound, drum, cleanse, or purify; honoring a different facet of the sacred feminine as we move through the landscape and leyline intersections.

    • Remember the song of your sensuality, the fluidity of your body, the boundless pleasures of your skin, by embracing the wisdom and teachings of this land.

    • Day 3: The Waters of Renewal | The Northwest Coast
Morning yoga practice overlooking the Mediterranean. Today is dedicated to the element of water. We visit Aphrodite’s Baths, and work with the energy of purification, followed by an afternoon of integration by the sea and an evening circle.

Here, we explore the bridging of ancient Near Eastern traditions with the island's unique expression of the Divine Feminine. We tap into the frequency of the earliest representations of the Goddess, tracing her influence through site visits and storytelling to understand her fierce and fertile roots. Through embodied practices, we integrate these ancient lineages, bringing the mythic history and potent energy of this site into our physical presence.

    • Day 7: The Inner Sanctuary | Tochni
Our final full day is held in Tochni. We dedicate this time to deep integration culminating in a Closing Ceremony to honor our shared transformation and the awakening of the Goddess within.

    • Day 8: Carrying the Light Home
One final breakfast in the village before we depart carrying the medicine of the island back into our lives.

Weaving Two Lineages into Oneness

Weaving together the Orphic lineage of the Goddess Aphrodite and the Levantine lineage as felt and lived in Cyprus, we will traverse the island's most sacred energy nodes, moving from East to West, resting between our two home bases in the rustic village of Tochni and the coastal Akamas, as these two lineages gradually weave into oneness.

On this pilgrimage, you are guided by two mid-wives of the soul who bridge the ancient past with the living present. While their paths converge in the heart of the Goddess, they offer two distinct doorways into her mystery:

Apostolia: The Orphic & Archetypal Bridge
A visionary choreographer and ceremonial guide, Apostolia breathes life into the Hellenic and Orphic lineages. Drawing from three decades of artistry, she invites you to move with the sacred rhythms of the Greek archetypes. Through site-specific ritual and "performance-as-remembrance," she transforms ancient myth from a distant story into a lived, physical experience, awakening the divine feminine wisdom held within your own body.

Alexia: The Levantine & Energetic Alchemist
Drawing on her deep connection to the Levantine and Phoenician roots of the island, Alexia interprets its history, revealing how ancient Near Eastern traditions merged with the local landscape to shape the unique frequency of the Cypriot Goddess. Working with the “Cypris/Pandemos” frequency of Aphrodite, Alexia guides us to connect to the sacred in the everyday, not as an exception, but as a daily ritual—and the power in our shared human experience.Through storytelling and energetic activation, she grounds the transcendent into our physical reality, bridging ancient wisdom with our modern lived experience and the collective grid of the island.

  • Apostolia Papadamaki is a visionary performance artist, choreographer, and ceremonial guide whose work bridges contemporary art with the ancient wisdom of the Hellenic tradition. For more than three decades she has created performances, rituals, and participatory experiences that transform art into a living act of remembrance.

She is the founder of Anamnesis, a long-term artistic project exploring the meeting of ancient mysticism and contemporary performance through site-specific works presented in archaeological sites, museums, theatres, and natural landscapes.

For over twenty years Apostolia has also guided retreats, ceremonies, and mentorship journeys inspired by Orphic philosophy, the archetypes of the Greek gods and goddesses, and the elemental forces of nature. Her work invites participants to reconnect with the sacred rhythms of life and awaken the embodied wisdom of the divine feminine text goes here

  • Alexia Berta is an energy alchemist, intuitive yoga teacher, sacred gridworker, and ceremonialist who creates potent spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued.

She leads transformative retreats and pilgrimages across the Earth’s energetic vortexes and ancient sites, weaving Levantine mysticism with the living intelligence of nature to activate collective remembrance.

Founder of Wild Anasa and co‑creator of Ecstatic Dance Limassol, she integrates energetics, yoga, sound, dance, and place‑based ritual to facilitate direct, personal experiences of the divine and to help raise human and planetary frequency.
